Conversion Optimisation

It's all fun and games getting people onto your site and having them ogle over what you have to offer, but that may not be enough to turn these visitors into customers.

Now that you have taken on some of our eMarketing services, why not get them to streamline, working together to help your site meet its full potential? Conversion Optimisation is a two step process that assesses your eMarketing effect and then optimises this effect so that you can start getting solid results.

Step One: Assessment

Usability:
We conduct listening labs to determine how visitors are interacting and responding to your site.

Website stats:
We get a detailed analysis of how people are interacting with the site. We focus on 'funnel analysis', which indicates the common clickpaths in the site.

Cross-service ROI tracking:
We compare the effectiveness of each of the eMarketing services to determine which points to focus on, in order to get visitors to where we want them to be.

Split testing:
We create a hypothesis and test it by randomly sending visitors to either option in a statistically equal manner, from which we can measure which has the best conversion rate. Split tests can become more advanced as the number of options increase.

Multivariate testing:
The more advanced options, where we take a number of different options for particular elements on a page and then create a number of pages equal to the product of those options and elements. We then test each combination.

Other measurables:
We take into account the data from other services that are easily measurable. These include PPC data, banner advertising statistics and affiliate tracking.

Phase Two: Optimise

Every conversion is the fulfilment of a series of steps. Each step has a drop-off rate as it progresses.

The aim is to reduce this drop-off by page redesigns and usability improvements. Based on the Analysis stage, we make changes accordingly. This process continues as conversion rates increase.

A variety of tailored techniques are employed to improve conversion rates, depending on the area being improved.

We tend to find an increase in conversion rate of 25% to 50%, which can mean serious improvements to your business. The optimisation continues to pay dividends long after the work has been done.

Conversion Optimisation is one of our more advanced services, achievable only with a deep understanding and holistic approach to the Internet. The marketplace is only getting more competitive as people are spending more online, so you need to get the most out of every click.

Quirk's thorough experience in fields such as Search Engine Optimisation, PPC, Mail Marketing and Website Development mean that we have the unique advantage of how to best improve the conversion rate on your website.
