Starting an Affiliate Marketing program is a cost-effective and efficient way to advertise because you are only paying for what you get out of the advertising. Basically, you would approach another business to become an affiliate. When they agree to do so, you are able to advertise with banners and links on their site - that would direct traffic to your website.
You only pay for the results of your advertising. Depending on the agreed commission structure, for every lead that you get out of the advertising, you pay the affiliate - no more, no less.
Exposure on other websites opens you up to new customers. It's just another way of getting your brand out there.
It obviously costs the affiliate nothing to have your advertising on their site. That said, every time it generates a lead, you pay them the commission.
Affiliate Marketing programs are win-win scenarios with which you can inexpensively access potential customers. The success of an Internet Affiliate Marketing campaign greatly depends on careful strategising.
